For reference, my favorite sponge is from Rephr, which is really absorbent. I think this would be great for someone who doesn't want a sponge to suck up a lot of product. It's easy to clean! I found it too big for my liking since I like to really squish a sponge down and blend out eyeshadow. I will likely continue using it damp to powder, it has a great shape for it. I'd love it if a smaller sponge in the same shape was released, it's the most unique shape I used and I liked being able to use cream products on one side, and powder on the other without muddying it up! That being said, I felt like it removed product the more I blended anything out. It didn't work out with either the Turn Up the Base foundation, or Rare Beauty's. It left my foundation feeling heavy, and it ended up separated at the end of the day. Turning it over and trying to remove excess product didn't work, just left me with patchy spots. It removed product when trying to blend out contour and blush.

Good bye old sponges. I was able to use this one doing in my routine and get rid of needing three or four separate sponges.

This sponge is also super easy to clean.
